150 Years of Ringstraße - Interactive Book Presentation

Watch on Vimeo

During the ITB Berlin, the world’s leading travel show, the Vienna Tourist Board wanted to present not only the 2015 theme of Vienna, but also a book that was published for this very reason. Since the trade show is buzzing the form of presentation needed to stand out.

Since the theme is about the 150th anniversary of Vienna’s famous “Ringstraße” (a ring shaped boulevard in the inner city) we decided to create a circular shaped touchscreen exhibit. It gave access to the entire book in digital form and a slideshow with impressions from the Ringstraße. The touchscreen was flanked by two iPads offering the book as an audio book with a custom HTML5 interface we created.
