HowTo TTY Rendering

Russian | Italian

Chinese Version: TTY 渲染

TTY rendering

vvvv provides a special renderer, who will supply an 80ties TTY window in addition to the 2k-ish DirectX renderer and the 90ties GDI renderer.

The Renderer (TTY) works in combination with render nodes called Write (TTY), WriteLn (TTY) and WritePage (TTY).

The renderer is also used occasionally by certain nodes to output debug information, so it is recommended to open up a TTY Renderer to review that data.

Note that pressing Alt+Enter you can switch the Renderer (TTY) to a hardware full screen mode.

You can connect a GDITexture (EX9.Texture) to the Renderer (TTY), to copy the content of the TTY renderer to a Texture.
