When I had the idea to build the Fool Proof LJ System, I started to think what it should do. It is more important to start thinking about WHAT you want, than it is to know HOW to build it.

Only after I knew what I wanted to build, and it was written down on paper I opened vvvv.

What is the basic structure off your Module?

  • -file missing-- align=center}

Most important thing is to understand how suppatching works! I basicly devided every part off my Module in a suppatch and put them together in a main patch.

  • Interface
    • Draw a button
    • See if the button is clicked
    • See if a MIDI button is pressed
    • View what button currently is on (combining MIDI and screen button presses)
  • Light Device Control

    • Strobe settings
    • Black-out setting
    • Moving Head Control
  • Global
    • Beat Detection
    • Parked light setting
    • Special over-ride color
    • Set the time for a button
