Beautiful Smooth Color Gradients with Vertex Color Blending

Hi,

There was a technique in Homeworld 2 that was fantastic.

Back then they used it for backgrounds.

But I wonder if it is also possible to do the same as a real time shader that just takes any texture and turns it into a beautiful painting kind of.

I guess it should be possible

unc did this polygonize shader… hmm…
