i'd say genlock always works as this is a pure hardware thing. i think framelock always is only available for opengl
@moustikopat - be careful, my experience is that the genlock of all these genlockable nvidia quadro cards does not work with directx in fullscreen mode - any positive experiences with these cards out there ?

ahm, on second thought, maybe you don't need to check it in 8.1 - it isn't broken. just connect the layers to groups and renderers. the whole layers-to-renderer-paradigm was shifted in beta 9 (see changelog)
i suggest opening it in 8.1, checking the connections, then rebuilding it in a recent version.
oh...so if I want to use DOF in beta 13, I can't do anything, or is there another way?

hey, Sanchez's DOF fx doesn't work on my pc. I am not sure the help patch is functioning as several nodes are not connected (including renderers). any ideas?

@bouke: other nodes for accessing slices of a spread are: select, getspread, stallone, vector (split)
if you split each value u can use stallone node (look at the inspektor to set tue output pin) you can access each slice of the spreads(array in vvvv) with getslice
