why is it that my patches sometimes don't remember the line/link positions? building a module+helppatch here, drives me crazy...

yeah i know that already :( but i ave to use it - i spoke with a dali specalist yesterday - he said it should be possible to do what i want with pure dali. know i have to check if the dmx-dali converter works with wished speed
DALI is apparently very slow. A person working with lighting control systems at Fagerhult said it was around 1% of the speed of DMX.

@m9dfuck: most DALI-EVGs are pretty lame - osram quicktronic are way the fastest. i would consider 1-10V technique.

... i'm asking because i read somewhere that there are large delay times (somethinbg like 400 ms) which would made it unusable for my concern.
