This is an interactive installation with an effect made entirely in vvvv and controlled with the Microsoft Kinect. It is 100% realtime.
Sadely, recording is not perfect here as it is realtime full HD and recorded live... quite hard to have it nice and clean...

I did this tiny video for a workshop I'm giving soon about vvvv and interactive installation. The aim of the video is to show how versatile and quick the vvvv toolkit is.
These are 3 different projects starting with the same white rectangleas a basis -done in no more than 3 minutes each-.

A short video of my last installation during the "Bring your own beamer"
event in Platoon Kunsthalle Berlin, on 26th October.
2 GPU particles systems with self repulsion and fluid simulation.
The tracking is made with a PS3 camera.
As always, it´s programmed in vvvv.
A dissolving and fractured typeface outlines a minimal story.
Recorded in realtime.
patched in VVVV.
Last August the first "Umweltarena" of the world (yes!) opened its doors in the sleepy little town of Spreitenbach near Zürich - a center to experience environment, energy and sustainability.
We were asked by McKinivan Moos to create a graphical world for the projection at the exhibiton area of Swisscom. We designed and animated the interfaces aswell as the various characters and landscapes which were served to our dirty-nerdy friend Zepi aka Tsetse who coded the whole interactive experience in VVVV.
The visitor takes a journey along his customs concerning sustainable traveling, energy use, mobile phone use and recycling issues. Everything is created in a playfull manner and invites old and young folks to create their personal avatar to learn how to act more sustainable and ecoconsious.
